Rujuta is a New York based artist.  Her creative journey began in India, where she was captivated by the colors and vibrancy of local art and designs. Rujuta found joy in painting and sketching, and it has been a constant passion throughout her life. As an adult, she had the opportunity to live in Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, where the diverse people, cultures, and art forms of these countries inspired her artistic expression.

As a self-taught artist and lifelong art lover, Rujuta's paintings reflect the world around her. She finds  human form, clothing and patterns to be visually intriguing and aesthetically pleasing, with the designs, textures, patterns and colors serving as elements that she incorporates into her artwork to create visually captivating compositions.
