Renee Broders is a visual artist working and living on the lands of the Koora Kooracup (Sunbury, Victoria). Her artistic practise spans both digital and traditional image creation methods, fusing electronic and physical collage and image manipulation techniques to form the basis of her original paintings in oil and acrylic mediums. Broders’ work focus on contemporary portraiture, each personality emerging from the canvas through vibrant colour and abstraction.

With major exhibitions at Fenton & Fenton, Brunswick Street Art Gallery, Warranmbool Art Gallery and a recent finalist in the Doug Moran National Portraiture Prize, Portia Geach Memorial Award, Southern Bouy Studios Portraiture Prize and Sunshine Coast Art Prize.
